Tibtetan Tanghka Applique is a unique method of demonstrating and portraying the stories of Buddha. They use fabrics such as silk and cotton of various colours and hand stitch them onto large scrolls to form images.

Indian Wooden carvings is a craft that goes back many years. Each region in India has  different styles of carvings that use different types of woods. 

Through this project, I wanted to merge the two crafts to design a collection bringing out the combination of the crafts.
